What experience do you have? We started wedding photography in 1985 and we started wedding video’s in 2003. Our background during, before and currently, has been in the photography sales and printing industry. If there is something new, we are the first to know about it. We are constantly updated on the latest trends in photography fashion and the latest professional equipment which is especially important considering how fast current technology is updated and improved. We sell to and train government departments and large corporations in the latest digital equipment and we film and edit videos for a variety of different organizations.

Do I get copyright of my images? Yes, we share copyright with you! We don’t believe brides and grooms should pay a fortune for regular prints. So with every package, you get a CD with small files on it for easy printing of 6” x 4” prints and you also get a DVD of all the finished files in High Resolution for printing enlargements and archival. We share copyright because we are constantly updating our website and advertising so we like to use all of our latest weddings to stay fresh. If you would not like us to do this, then we will happily oblige.

Do you do small, weekday weddings? Yes! For a small weekday wedding, we operate on an hourly basis which can dramatically reduce the costs of your wedding photography. Please contact us with the length of your wedding, date and location for a quote.

Yes, I would like to book. How do I do this? You can tentatively book us by giving us a call. We will pencil you in until you are able to pay your deposit. When your deposit is paid, you have secured your booking and we will not book another wedding on your wedding day.

How much deposit do I have to pay? For one service (either photo or video) the deposit required is $200. For dual bookings of both photo and video, the deposit is $500.00. All amounts paid are taken off the balance of your wedding. The booking fee is non-refundable.

How and when do I pay the balance? The balance is due any time up until 30 days before your wedding date. You can pay either in one lump sum or in regular installments. Some of our brides choose to pay nominated amount per week so that when the wedding comes around, they are already paid up.

What types of payments do you accept? Direct Deposit, Cheque, Money Order, Credit Card (incurs a small banking fee)

Do you have gift vouchers? Yes, if your family and friends want to contribute to the costs, they can call us to arrange this. We are currently working on a new system. When your engagement photo’s a finished, they will be uploaded into a secured section of our website where, with the correct password, your family and friends can see your photo’s and also buy gift certificates up to 6 weeks before your wedding. The amounts paid will be taken off your bill. This is a great idea instead of a gift registry.

Can my family and friends look at my photo’s and have the option to order their own prints through you? Very soon we will have this facility set up and ready to go! Your photo’s will be loaded onto our website in a secured section where your family and friends enter the password which we will supply on the night of your wedding. Here, they can have a sticky beak at your photo’s and can even order their own photo’s if they choose. This takes away all the pressure off you to show every one your photos and then gather orders from everyone asking for their own favourite shots. Your photo’s will be loaded and ready to be viewed as soon as they are ready here. This service is complimentary to all photo packages. If you have bought a video package, we can also add small clips from your wedding for friends to see.

What camera’s do you use? We only use the best digital Canon lenses and bodies available. We work at the top of the photographic industry and we have access and knowledge to the best of the best. For wedding video’s, we use professional 3CCD cameras. Wireless mikes are also essential to get the best possible audio during the ceremony. If you just use the on camera mic’s, you get all the un-filtered background noises including, baby cries, sneezing, coughing, trains going past etc etc. The wireless mikes eliminate this problem as much as possible. We can now do HD. We use the latest HD video cameras and HD tapes.

How long does it take to get my products back? That depends on what you have ordered. Here is a general guide to go off. Photo images and proof album - 4 - 5 weeks Video - first edit - up to 7 weeks. Coffee Table Book - proof to approve - 2 weeks after photos are finished - once it has been proofed and approved, it takes 4 weeks for it to be published and delivered. Framed Gallery - 3 - 4 weeks after photo’s are completed Please NOTE: We have given ourselves a generous time to work with in. This is because we will never sacrifice getting the best possible products for quick turnaround.

I’m not getting married in Sydney, do you travel? Absolutely. We have traveled all over NSW and to Vanuatu. We also travel to the United Kingdom. We will basically go anywhere. Please talk to us about where your wedding will be and we will give you a quote. Travel anywhere within one hour of Sydney and the Blue Mountains is complementary.

Can I order other products after my wedding has been completed? Yes! Some of the products will be the same price and others may be a little more depending on the product.

Can I order extra Coffee Table Books? Absolutely. At the time of printing, extra books are a very reasonably priced. The files for your book are kept for 5 years and within that period, you can order extra copies at any time. The price may be different due to varying printing costs at the time.

I got married 5 years ago and my photos are on film, can I get a coffee table book done? Yes. We can do Coffee Table Books for anyone. The only things you need is copyright permission from your photographer. Copyright lasts for 50 years so if you wanted to get a book done for anyone who had their wedding over 50 years ago, then no copyright release is necessary.

Do you go to the groom as well as the bride before the wedding ceremony? Yes, as long as time and distance permits. This is included in your package and you do not have to pay any more money.

If my wedding goes over the time limit in my package, how much is it to stay longer? Our wedding packages all include very generous time allowances. However, if you have an especially long wedding, we can stay for $190.00 per hour.

Do you do magazine or traditional style albums? Yes. There are literally hundreds of different albums and styles to work with. If you have one in mind, please let us know and we will tailor a quote for you.

Why have an engagement shoot? We think this is really important which is why it is offered in the gold and silver packages. It gives you the opportunity to work with your photographer and get used to having your photo taken. It gives us the opportunity to work with you and find out which poses and styles suit you. You receive all your images on CD presented in a folio case. You can use these images any way you please. They are often used in the actually wedding invitations themselves.
